After several years working abroad in Germany, Switzerland and Norway, Peter relocated to Washington State in 1986. Peter began work with Bellevue-based Tom Paulsen Construction where he spent 7 years working on exclusive homes in locations such as Clyde Hill, Medina, and Mercer Island as well as the Seattle neighborhoods of Windermere and Laurelhurst. In 1993 Peter started Peter's Custom Woodworking out of a small shop in Kirkland before relocating to his current shop in Woodinville. Depending on the project, Peter works either from his well-equipped workshop and / or on the job site. Peter became a naturalized citizen of the United States in 1996. In his free time, Peter enjoys juggling, hiking, gardening and skiing. At home Peter has fun building lamps, chicken houses, bird houses and feeders, as well as wooden toys and puzzles. |

| About Peter's Custom Woodworking Peter specializes in wood frame window repairs as well as building custom windows, complete with insulated glass and weather stripping. He also designs and builds custom kitchens and bathrooms, which include all custom cabinetry. If you are looking for custom furniture, Peter can work with you to create one-of-a-kind entertainment centers, tables, bookcases, or any special piece your home may need. |
